About 200 individuals joined together Saturday morning in the 28 degree weather to protest Congress’ frivolous spending of our money. After a stint at J.C. Nichols Fountain near the Plaza, the group marched to Sen. Claire McCaskill’s office in Westport. We will be sure to talk about this tonight on 980 At Night. For now, enjoy the pictures from the protest. If you right click any image, you can open it in a new window at a larger size.

Great to meet you, Chuck! It was so great to have an outlet this morning for all the frustration we’ve been feeling. Kudos to Blind Mule for getting this together … when’s the next one?

We drove down from Omaha (in near blizzard conditions) to join all you fine Kansas and Missouri patriots.
I passed out 135 of my fliers, and I did not give one to every person there, so I estimate the crowd at approximately 200. The fact that so many turned out in such lousy weather is a testament to our determination and dedication to our country and our core beliefs. Do you think a bunch of wimpy libs would have braved the cold for their dudes? I am guessing not.
From the signs I read, it is clear that we are focused on upholding the Constitution, not on personalities. Oh, and the fact that McCaskill is a typical “Ruling Class” type. I predict she will not be re-elected. You all here in KC are going to make sure you have a conservative next time.
I was proud to participate with you all.

Love how the Kansas City Star managed to cut the crowd of 200 into half. Sheesh, why call these people “reporters” instead of “minions in the tank for liberals”?

This was my 1st protest in my 56 year lifetime, I came to the conclusion that this does more than me just yelling at my TV or Radio. It is time for us to get politicians to notice the taxpayers that elect them! It is time they remember us more than on election day.

We, as proud American’s, have the obligation and the right to demand from our public officials, who work for us, that our conservative views and rights be protected. Like Gary we have never protested in our life…but this is too important to our children and our grandchildren NOT to protest.
Can anyone AFFORD not to get involved?
